Jack and the Jerk To Host the 82nd Academy Awards!

My disappointment over Hugh Jackman not returning has just subsided... it's been announced that Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin will be co-hosting the 82nd annual Academy Awards ceremony! In the recent poll in which I asked you your thoughts on the Academy Award's decision to increase the number of Best Picture nominees from 5 to 10, just over half of you said that it's a bad idea. Those who gave their thoughts in the comments section of the post provided sound theories as to why they felt the way they did. I think it's too soon to tell whether or not it's a good or bad idea.
